Standard to the 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe are 17-inch alloy wheels, tri-zone climate controls, power front seats, Bluetooth® connectivity, OnStar®, satellite radio, iPod/USb interface, and a six speaker sound system. Beyond these amazing features, the midgrade LT also has driver memory functions, leather interior and heated seats. The must luxurious of the trims, the LTZ adds captain's chairs, 20-inch alloy wheels, a hard drive based navigation system and a 10 speaker surround sound BOSE® speaker system. An optional convenience package for any trim includes power-adjustable pedals, remote ignition, rear parking assist and a rearview camera system.

Standard safety equipment on the 2012 Chevy Tahoe includes antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, front-seat side airbags, side curtain airbags, while the Tahoe LTZ can be had with a blind-spot warning system. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) rates it five out of five stars in front and side crash tests and three out of five stars in the rollover test, earning it a four star average.
